Our hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Wednesdays the clinic opens at 9:00 a.m. We dedicate 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. each Wednesday to staff development so that we can keep our staff current on the latest in veterinary care for your pet. The clinic is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Doctor appointments are available during hospital hours. For your convenience and to maintain a prompt and effective schedule, please call for an appointment. If you prefer the appointment with a particular staff doctor, please make that request at the time you schedule the appointment.

We do accept walk-in appointments, however, scheduled appointments will be cared for first and it may require some waiting time.

We accept all major credit cards, cash, check, Scratch  and Care Credit.

Yes, we provide boarding services for our client’s pets. We have boarding space for both dogs, cats, and horses. Our small animal boarders enjoy light, clean, spacious quarters with separate rooms for dogs and cats. Our boarding facilities are temperature regulated and pets are provided with 3 walks a day. Reservations are advised, especially during certain holidays. Horses are kept either in our enclosed pasture pens or in the barn, reservations requested.

In the best interests of all of our boarding pets, every animal must be current with his or her wellness exams and immunizations against species-specific diseases. Ideally, each will have received the appropriate vaccinations 10-14 days prior to arriving at AVMC since many vaccines need this length of time to build up antibodies in your pet’s system.

Our dog kennels are all indoor. Dogs are walked three times daily while they are boarding. Cats are housed in a separate area away from the dogs. Blankets and food are provided for our boarders, but you are always welcome to bring your own.
