Emergencies

Emergency situations with our pets can unfortunately arise at the most inopportune times. At Associated Veterinary we see Urgent Care and Emergency cases throughout the day when needed. Please do not ever hesitate to call us if you think your pet is in need of an emergency or urgent care visit.

If it is outside our normal business hours or on a holiday, please call 509-439-7467. An Emergency Clinic technician will take your call and contact the Doctor on call.

Please stay near and off the phone until the veterinarian returns your call. The doctor will help you assess the situation to decide if the patient should be seen or if the patient would require continual care at the Mid Columbia Pet Emergency Center located in Pasco. If you have not heard back from the doctor 20 min after leaving a message, please call again.

Emergency calls after 10pm are referred to Mid Columbia Pet Emergency Center. They have a Veterinarian and staff on site and are available to provide overnight care.

The Mid Columbia Pet Emergency Center, 509-547-3577, located on 8913 Sandifur Parkway, Pasco, is open for emergencies after hours. Their veterinarians and staff are located on site and provide “quality urgent and emergency care for your pets”
