Community Involvement
Relationships That Last
We're intentional about how and where we show up as we are committed to supporting the people, organizations, and causes that truly make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

Local Organizations We Support

The Community Council
The Community Council holds a special place in our hearts, not just for the work they do, but for the people behind it. Their mission to bring all people together through dialogue, advocacy, and shared ideas reflects the kind of community we believe in. Through long-standing relationships and continued support of their events, we’re proud to be part of the impact they’re making across Walla Walla and the surrounding area/

Walla Walla Noon Rotary
Being part of the Noon Rotary is one of the ways we stay connected to the broader needs of our community. Through Dr. Perkins’ ongoing involvement, we’ve had the opportunity to contribute to projects that support both local initiatives and global efforts. It’s one more way we can extend our role beyond the clinic and into the community we care about.

Blue Mountain Humane Society
Blue Mountain Humane Society has long been a vital part of the Walla Walla Valley, working to promote kindness, prevent cruelty, and strengthen the human-animal bond. Through adoption, education, and accessible spay and neuter programs, they continue to make a lasting impact for pets and families in our community. We’re proud to support an organization whose mission so closely aligns with our own.

What Community Looks Like at AVMC
Walla Walla is a uniquely diverse community, home to farmers and ranchers, winemakers, families, and longtime residents. One of the things we value most is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and build meaningful relationships with their families and their pets through the care we provide every day.
- Supporting local organizations that directly impact families and pets
- Participating in community initiatives with long-term relationships that improve animal welfare and local life
- Encouraging our team to engage in causes they personally care about
- Quietly giving back in ways that align with our values as an independently owned veterinary hospital
- Building relationships that extend beyond the exam room
